OYAK Cement Helps Build a Brighter Future through “Renkli Yakalar” Meaningful Support for Ünye İnönü Primary School

OYAK Cement’s employee volunteering initiative, “Renkli Yakalar,” has transformed the playground of Ünye İnönü Primary School into a modern sports facility.

OYAK Cement, Türkiye’s leading cement producer, continues to create positive social impact through its “Renkli Yakalar” employee volunteering initiative.

As part of the project, OYAK Cement provided corporate support while employee volunteers worked together to completely renovate the playground of Ünye İnönü Primary School. With new sports equipment and upgraded ground surfaces, the school now offers its students a safe, modern and engaging space for physical activity.

The Renkli Yakalar initiative encompasses a wide range of activities supporting social development in the communities where OYAK Cement operates, from education and environmental projects to sports and social solidarity.

“We Measure Leadership by More Than Numbers”

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Özhan İnceoğlu, OYAK Cement’s Ünye Plant Director, emphasised that the company measures leadership not only by production figures, but also by the value it creates for society:

“As part of the global TCC Group Holdings family, we have an international outlook, while our hearts remain firmly connected to the communities surrounding our plants. Inspired by the educational vision of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, we wanted to provide our children with a space where they can experience the discipline of sport and develop a strong sense of teamwork. I would like to thank every member of our volunteer Renkli Yakalar team for their heartfelt contribution.”

Commenting on the initiative, Murat Sela, Country CEO of OYAK Cement, underlined that social responsibility is an integral part of the company’s corporate culture:
